Simply Tights 18″ Doll Accessories
Make trendy, fun, elegant or dance tights for your doll. These tights have a seam at the back, which helps minimize the bubbles over the bridge of the doll’s foot without adding an extra dart. Use any type of knit or stretch fabric – Lycra, dance mesh, stretch lace and more. Included are 2 pattern options to accommodate normal stretch fabrics or those that stretch even more! Also included in this PDF pattern are 2 methods for adding the elastic – either an exposed elastic or a hidden one.
Recommended Fabrics: Light weight knitted and stretch fabrics. Stretch lace, dance mesh, nylon lycra
Supplies Needed:
-Fabric for tights – 12” x 16”
-9.5” Narrow Scallop edge or flat Elastic (5/8” to 1/2” wide)
-Machine Needle:
-Stretch Needle for “rubber” based fabric like Lycra
-Ball Point Needle for knit fabrics
-Matching thread
