Sweet Nutcracker 18″ Doll Clothes Pattern
Your 18-inch doll will look adorable in this gorgeous Nutcracker ensemble which was inspired by the toy soldier in Tchaikovsky’s ‘Nutcracker’ ballet.
The ‘Sweet Nutcracker’ outfit from Little Miss Muffett consists of a ‘Gendarme’ style Hat and a combination Jacket and Skirt, stitched together at the waist to form a Dress.
The Bodice or Jacket, sports a Peplum, a split Stand-up Collar, a piped and buttoned contrasting Center Front Panel and long Sleeves with piped and corded contrasting Cuffs, while the layered and gathered Skirt is trimmed with a Tulle Ruffle. The Dress closes at Center Back with Hook & Loop Tape.
The fully lined Hat has a contrasting piped, corded and buttoned headband and a piped peak.
The ensemble would also make a smart Drum Majorette uniform.
This Intermediate PDF sewing pattern from Little Miss Muffett is designed to fit 18-inch soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
