The Jazzy Dress 18″ Doll Clothes Pattern
Does your doll live in the 1920’s? Or maybe she’s headed for a costume party. This dress is perfect for a 1920’s party!
Pattern includes clear, step by step written directions and photos to make a 1920’s style drop-waist dress with an optional scalloped hem, fancy trim details and an embellished overlay skirt. Dress options include back bow or full sash. Includes a bonus headband. Dress has tulle overlay on the bodice and a tulle skirt that has decorative stitching and is embellished with appliques or fabric flowers. Dress has an invisible zipper closure in the back.

Recommended Supplies: Soft mesh tulle, stretch velvet, crepe-back satin, silk.
Supplies Needed:
Dress
- ¼ yd for main dress
- Small piece for lining
- 1 yd of soft mesh tulle/lace for overlay
- 1 yd of ¾” to 1” wide floral embroidered or rhinestone trim
- 5” invisible zipper (or longer and can cut to fit)
- Floral appliques or fabric flowers (or you can use from trim)
- 18” of 1 ½” ribbon or non fray fabric for back bow only
- 36” of 1 ½” ribbon or non fray fabric for full sash
- Hot glue
- Thread
- Small sharp scissors
- Sewing needle
Head Piece
- 20” of ⅜” ribbon
- 12” rhinestone trim
- Hot glue
- Small feather
