Change the fabric and add a ribbon or fabric rose and another stunning dress is born. Keep it simple with cotton fabric; add a large button for a pretty day dress. Supplies Needed:
Fabric Used – The fabric used for these Dresses range from Quilter’s Cotton, Madras Shirting (cotton) to Eyelet Lace; the bodices are lined with Lightweight Cotton. Ruffles vary from Cotton, Eyelet Lace to Organza and may be edged in lace or left plain. Fabric choice for this very versatile dress is entirely yours.
Fabric Requirements:
Bodice with sleeves: Lightweight Woven Fabric of Choice – 12” x 13”
Bodice without sleeves: Lightweight Woven Fabric of Choice – 12” x 5 ½”
Lining: Lightweight Woven Fabric of Choice – 12” x 5 ½”
Sleeves: Lightweight Woven Fabric of Choice – 6 ¼” x 6”
Skirt – First Tier: Lightweight Woven Fabric of Choice –
a) 2 ¼” x 21 ½” – with lace
b) 2 ¾” x 21 ½” – sheer – without lace
c) 3” x 21 ½” – cotton – without lace
Skirt – Second Tier: Lightweight Woven Fabric of Choice – 4 ¼” x 21 ½”
Sleeve Cuffs – Cut on Bias: Lightweight Woven Fabric of Choice – 4” x 8”
Notions:
Lace Edging for First Skirt Tier – ¾” wide x 21 ½”
hook and loop tape for Back Closure – 3 ¼” x 3/8” wide

Matching Thread, Marking Pen, Point Turner, general sewing supplies.
A ‘Universal Sewing Needle – 80/10’, a Walking Foot, a General Purpose Foot and a ¼” Foot are used throughout the sewing process.
