This 30-page PDF sewing pattern for 18″ dolls, by Flossie Potter, gives you detailed instructions and full-color step-by-step photos for making a comfy pullover hoodie with drawstring and front pocket. Also included is a BONUS pattern for easy-peasy PJ Pants.
Add optional embellishments to your hoodie for a unique flare, or create a doll-size sports team/school sweatshirt. However you design it, your doll will thank you for it.
Recommended Fabrics: sweatshirt fabric, fleece, stretch ribbing, cotton, flannel, linen
Supplies Needed:
Hoodie:
-1/2 yd sweatshirt fabric or fleece
-1/4 yd stretch ribbing
-Eyelet Grommet set (2 grommets required, size 5/32, follow instructions on grommet package)
-2/3 yd braided cord (approx. 1/8″ wide)
-Cotton fabric remnant (1″ x 2″)
PJ Pants:
-1/3 yd (without nap) cotton, flannel, or linen –or– 1/2 yd (with nap)
-11 inches of 1/4″ wide elastic
-2 inches of narrow ribbon
