Window Shopping 14.5″ Doll Clothes Pattern
Your 14.5-inch doll will look adorable in this gorgeous Playsuit, by Little Miss Muffett, specially designed for shopping with friends at the Mall. With an attached pocket purse in which to put her pennies, she has her hands free for lots of parcels and shopping bags.
The Bodice has a round shallow-scoop topstitched neck, gathered bell sleeves and an optional motif on the front. The Pants, although loose-fitting in the leg, are fitted around the body and have front darts which take in the fullness around the waist. Double layered, topstitched ruffles feature at the hem. The working Pocket Purse closes with a small snap and a pretty button finishes the front flap. Straps are personal choice from chain, beads, ribbon, braid, etc., even hand-embroidered chain stitch is suitable. The Playsuit closes at Center back with Hook & Loop tape. This easy pattern is designed to fit 14.5” dolls such as WellieWishers™.

Fabric Used: I used Quilters’ Cotton for the Playsuits, and Chain and Beads as straps for the Pocket Purse, while my tester used fine twisted cord for her strap.

Sleeves, Pocket Purse & Narrow Ruffle : Quilters’ Cotton – 6” x 20”
Lining for Bodice : Lightweight Cotton – 5” x 12”
Interfacing for Pocket Purse : Fusible, Lightweight – 4” x 5”
Notions:
Hook & Loop Tape for Playsuit : 2 ¾” x 3/8” wide
Snap for Pocket Purse : Size 0 (0.35”) (8.9mm)
Button for Pocket Purse : 1 x ¼” wide
Small Motif for Bodice (Optional) : ± 1” x 1”
Fabric Adhesive Tape : ± 1” x 1”
Ribbon, Braid, Chain, etc. for Pocket Purse Strap : ± 10” long
Matching Thread; Erasable Marking Pen; Point Turner; Teflon™ Sheet; Dress Makers’ Carbon; general sewing supplies.
A ‘Universal Sewing Needle – 80/12’, a Walking Foot, a General Purpose Foot and a ¼” Foot are used during the sewing process.
