50s N Saturdays Best 14.5″ Doll Clothes Pattern
Welcome to 50s N Saturdays Best by Dolly Wears. This pattern is a 1950s style dress with a full skirt. There is a Front and Back Insert on the Bodice Front and Bodice Back with your choice of trim along with two buttons on the Front Insert. The dress has short puff Sleeves with lace or rickrack at the bottom of each Sleeve. The dress closure in this pattern tutorial is hook and look tape.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 14.5” Dolls such as WellieWishers™.
Recommended Fabric: Cotton such as quilting cotton
Supplies Needed:
- 1/3 yard cotton for Bodice Front, Bodice Back and Skirt
- 4” x 15” piece of contrast cotton for Bodice Front and Back Insert
- 1/2 yard of 1/4” to 1/2” flat lace or rickrack
- 3” of hook and loop tape for back closure
- One 3/8” button and One snap for Tie
- Two 1/4” button for Front Insert
- Matching thread
