Ballet Slippers 18″ Doll Shoes
These adorable soft sole ballet slippers, from Miche Designs, will match perfectly with dance clothes made from the Doll Tag Clothing Ballet Class pattern. The design features a a slip on style with elastic strap across the top of the foot and a tiny bow tie accent on the toe. It is designed to fit 18 inch American Girl Dolls. The shoe has tiny gathers on the sole that meet up with the felt backing – so cute! This is an intermediate PDF level pattern because of the assembly, the sewing skills required are basic.
Supplies Needed:
-Scrap satin fabric for body
-Thread and sewing machine
Skill Level: Intermediate. You will need the basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine. The assembly of the shoe requires a bit of practice and patience, which is why the pattern is rated intermediate.
