Suggested fabrics include microsuede, faux leather (lightweight or very thin), wool, wool blends, suiting type fabrics, or corduroy. Ribbed knit is used and can be bought by the yard or upcycled from a variety of clothing items.
Supplies Needed:
- 1/4 yard of fashion fabric
- 1/4 yard lining fabric
- 2 1/4″ buttons
- 1 5″ separating zipper
- Thread
- 1/4 yard rib-knit fabric
Skill Level: Intermediate You will need the basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine and be familiar with sewing straight seams as well as curved seams. Jacket has a functional zipper, a zipper foot is needed.
