The Liberty Jane® Boomerit Falls Jacket is straight out of the pages of the latest Outback Libby book: Mystery on Lightning Ridge! Libby may have moved to the middle of nowhere, but that doesn’t mean she can’t bring her fashion sense with her to the Australian Outback!
Mix a touch of femininity with a bit of military inspiration and you get this beautifully designed jacket! The design features princess seams sewn with rough edges, double topstitching throughout, front pockets, and a tiered back peplum frayed for that perfectly worn-in look. It is accented with lace-up cuffs, decorative or functional front buttons, and an overall worn-in finish. The jacket on the cover image is made with a soft brushed cotton and is fully lined with a brightly colored floral. Perfect for a day in the outback, Aussie style!

Suggested jacket fabrics: Woven fabrics like cotton, twill, corduroy, lightweight denim, or linen.
Suggested lining fabrics: Lightweight woven cotton or poly blend lining fabric.
This pattern is designed to fit a modern American Girl® Doll with the measurements shown on the chart provided. If you have a similar sized 18 inch doll, we recommend checking the measurements of that doll and making any necessary adjustments (like adding a bit of ease to the sleeves or center back if your doll measures larger).
