Braided Sandals 18″ Doll Shoes
The Braided Sandals pattern, by Genniewren Designs, is a fun, casual shoe design for 18” dolls such as American Girls. The design features two colors of vinyl or pleather that intertwine to create an original and comfortable shoe for your dolls. Or you can have both sides the same color for a more formal look.
The vinyl uppers can be topstitched to add a high-end look or if you leave out the topstitching then this pattern can be made with no sewing at all.
This PDF shoe pattern is compatible with the Pixie Faire Pixie Pack SHAPE1 Pre-cut soles (White, Black, Color 1 , Color 2, or Black Chipboard). Sole templates are provided, should you wish to cut your own soles from cardboard, craft foam, or any other suitable material you may already have on hand.
What are shoes without somewhere nice to keep them? This pattern includes a bonus shoe box. There are two versions: one with a printed design and a plain one for you to use with craft paper or printed cardstock.
