Criss Cross Skirt 18″ Doll Clothes
The Criss Cross Skirt will soon become the skirt you’ll choose all the time! It can be worn as a skirt to a party or a skort with shorts for a bike ride. It can be an everyday skirt with a cute fabric ruffle or even a dressier skirt with the lace ruffle.
This PDF sewing pattern was designed to fit 18″ dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: woven fabric for skirt, t-shirt knit for shorts
Supplies Needed:
SKIRT WITH FABRIC RUFFLE
– 1/3 Yard of woven fabric
-6 inches of 3/8 inch hook and loop tape and matching thread
SKIRT WITH LACE RUFFLE
– 1/4 yard or fat quarter of woven fabric
-6 inches of hook and loop tape
-1 yard of 1 1/4 inch gathered lace trim and matching thread
SHORTS
-8 inches x 15 inches of knit fabric like t-shirt fabric with some stretch across the width of the fabric
-10 inches of 1/4 inch elastic
-matching thread
-1 inch square scrap of woven fabric
