Eva Cardigan Knitting Pattern
Eva is a close-fitting asymmetrical cardigan that features an unusual stitch pattern that meanders and flows in and out, and a square neckline to frame the face. It’s knit in one piece from the bottom up until the armholes, and the button bands are worked as you go to reduce the need for seaming and finishing at the end. The Eva Knitting PDF Pattern is designed to fit the 18″ American Girl or similar dolls with an 11″ chest circumference.
Supplies Needed:
-1 ball Knit Picks Comfy – 75% Cotton, 25% Acrylic; Fingering weight (218 yards per 50 gram ball), or suitable substitute yarn.
-24″ circular needle in size US 3 (3.25mm) (or size required to get gauge)
-Five 3/8” (9mm) buttons
-A darning needle for weaving in ends
Skill Level: Intermediate – requires a knowledge of basic knitting skills, increasing, decreasing, seaming and setting in sleeves
