Description
FREE Vintage Rose Machine Embroidery Design
This machine embroidery outline design, by Genniewren Designs, is a quick to sew design based on those wonderful vintage roses you’d see on embroidered table linens from the 1930s – 1940s. The design detail is sewn in running stitch, with a low density satin stitch to indicate the rolled edges of the center petals of the flower. The outer petals and leaves are sewn in a floss stitch to look like the backstitch that would have been used on the hand sewn designs at the time. This rose may be small, but it’s still large enough to use as an accent design on a skirt, jeans, a bag, or on other accessories for your doll.
