Gulf Shore Top 18″ Doll Clothes Knitting Pattern
The Gulf Shore Top is a lacy yoked sweater that recalls fun, sunny days by the shoreline collecting sea glass, playing on the sand bars, and picnicking by the strait. Designed to fit 18-inch soft bodied dolls such as American Girl® and Maplelea® dolls this top is a seamless knit, worked from the neckline down and features integrated sleeves and button bands. A gentle A-line shaping gives this knit a feminine appearance while creating sufficient ease for a flattering fit on a variety of dolls. For convenient dressing, this top opens fully at the back and fastens with a four-button closure. This sweater’s versatile tunic length creates a variety of fun wardrobe options when paired with your doll’s favorite skirts, shorts, or leggings.
One top four ways! This design is customizable. Options are presented for both short and long sleeve lengths as well as two lower border styles: lacy ripples or straight garter stitch.

Supplies Needed:
- You will need 65gm yarn for short sleeve version and 85gm to complete the longer sleeve top.
- 3.5mm (US 4) straight or circular knitting needles
- 3.5mm (US 4) set of double pointed needles if making the long sleeved version
- 4 buttons
- tapestry needle
- optional: 8-10 stitch markers
