Halloween Masks and Trick or Treat Bags 14-18″ Doll Accessory Pattern
Whether they want to be the mysterious masked prince or princess of the ball, a cute fox, cuddly dino or a magical unicorn for Halloween this pattern has it all. Guiding you through, step by step, this pattern contains three mask sizes and two bag sizes and offers tips to finish them that encourage your creative juices to soar while enjoying these projects. Both boys and girls will enjoy these Halloween accessories and will be the hit of their own costume ball.
These masks and treat bags were designed to fit 14-18″ dolls such as Hearts for Hearts Girls®, Welliewishers™, and American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Cottons, Felt
Supplies Needed:
Bag:
12 x 12 inches of medium weight cotton
8 x 10 inches of stiff fusible interfacing
Paper Backed Fusible Webbing
Paper Backed Fusible Tape – optional
10 inches of ribbon or trim for handles
Masks:
Felt pieces for mask bases about 5” x 2½”
Stiff medium interfacing about 5” x 2½”
Fusible webbing about 5” x 2 ½”
Decorating Both:
For decoration:
Felt scraps for ears,horns, eye patches, etc.
Embellishments – sparkly do-dads, fun flowers and leaves, pearl strands,etc.
Hot glue
Googly eyes (about ¼ inch) or buttons or over embellishments can be used
