This PDF sewing pattern has been designed to fit 18″ dolls such as American Girl® with two sizes: SMALL and LARGE.
SMALL SIZE with measuring of Waist: less than 10 ½ “.
LARGE SIZE with measuring of Waist: more than 10 ½”, up to 11 ½”.
Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight fabric.
Supplies Needed:
Option 1:
– 1/4 yard colored lightweight fabric;
– 3″ x 20″ piece of printed lightweight fabric;
– 5″ (width 3/8″) elastic;
– thread to match and contrasting thread;
– a piece of cardstock (or equivalent weight paper).
Option 2:
– 1/4 yard (width from 45″ to 60″) lightweight сotton сhambray or any lightweight fabric;
– 4″ x 8″ piece of quilting fabric for facing;
– 5″ (width 3/8″) elastic;
– thread to match and contrasting thread;
– a piece of cardstock (or equivalent weight paper).
