Little ’50s Swing Coat 18″ Doll Clothes
After I made the “Little ’50s Dress” pattern, I realized that there just had to be a coat to go with it. So after a little research and a few walks down our family’s Memory Lane, I knew that it had to be a swing coat.
This doll version, by Flossie Potter, designed to fit 18″ American Girl® dolls, has raglan sleeves, rolled cuffs, and a single button or frog closure. The coat is fully lined.
The PDF sewing pattern has step-by-step instructions and is chock full of supporting photos to help you create your own swing coat. It also contains summary instructions so you can save on printer ink by printing fewer pages.
Pair this coat with the Tuscan Winter Set for a really cute outfit!
