Meg’s Ball Gown 18″ Doll Clothes Pattern
Meg’s Ball Gown, is the fourth pattern in Keeper’s Dolly Duds “Little Women” series.
This elegantly detailed 1860s era ball gown features a full skirt with two decorative panel inserts. The off-shoulder neckline is finished with a free standing Bertha collar that is lavishly trimmed in lace. It also features short cuffed full sleeves. The bodice front has vertical detailing that draws emphasis to the waistline, giving it a narrower appearance. The dress closes in the back with five button loops.
To get the 1860s bell shape, the featured dress was worn over the crinoline found in Thimbles and Acorns Unmentionables pattern.
Pair this dress with Keeper’s Dolly Duds “Hooded Cloak” to keep off the night chill while traveling to and from the ball!

Suggested Fabrics: Dress in light to medium weight Shantung silk, silk dupioni, satin, crepeback satin, cotton sateen, or quilting cotton. Not suitable for knits.

- 1/3 yard of 3/4” wide ribbon
- Three yards of 3/8” – 5/8” wide flat lace with a finished header
- 5” x 4” piece of lightweight fusible interfacing
