No-Sew Huarache Sandals 18″ Doll Shoe Pattern
Traditional Huaraches are a type of Mexican sandal, Pre-Columbian in origin. Originally handmade of woven leather, these shoes grew in popularity and styles ranged from a more simplistic sandal to a more complex shoe. Now your 18″ doll can wear these fashionable no-sew sandals that can be easily be constructed using fun glitter vinyl.
This PDF sandal pattern is designed to fit 18″ American Girl® Dolls.
This shoe pattern is compatible with the precut Pixie Pack soles: Shape 1.
Supplies Needed:
- Darice® Glitter Vinyl Sheet 8.25” x 11.75”
- Darice® Foamies® Sheet 9” x 12” (2mm thick)
- Cardboard or chipboard
- X-Acto® knife
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
- Tape
- 1/4” trim
