Odette Doll 23″ Cloth Doll Pattern
We’re excited to present another great design from the International Collection! This 23-inch cloth doll was inspired by one of my favorite places: Paris, France. The PDF sewing pattern, from My Sunshine Dolls, includes full-color photographs and step-by-step directions to make this adorable 23″ cloth doll wearing a removable dress, coat, and beret. The doll has hair styled in French braids with ribbons. The doll, dress, and coat can be made from cotton fabric, beret from fleece or felt, and hair and shoes from felt. The clothing also fits 18″ dolls such as American Girl®.
This pattern is the second in a series of International doll patterns that showcase different countries. These dolls make great gifts for children and adults alike.
Recommended Fabrics: Cotton, fleece, felt
Supplies Needed:
- 1 fat quarter in skin color for face, body, legs and arms
- 1 scrap fabric for leggings
- 1 fat quarter of fabric for dress and underwear
- 1 scrap fabric for dress lining
- ½ yd of fabric for coat
- 1 scrap fabric for coat lining
- 1 piece of felt for hair front and back
- 2 pieces of felt or a piece of fleece for beret
- 1 scrap piece of felt for shoes
- 1 scrap piece of felt for mouth
- 6” of ½” hook and loop tape
- 24” of ribbon for braids
- Fabric marker
- Stuffing
- Thread
- Embroidery thread
- Sewing needle
- Doll needle (3 ½” to 4” long)
- 2- 1” buttons
- 3 – ⅜” buttons for coat
- Pins
- Hot glue
- 1 small pom pom for beret
