This PDF knitting pattern has instructions for both the Girl size hat (fits approximately ages 3- 10) AND 14.5-inch dolls such as WellieWishers™ and 16″ A Girl For All Time® dolls. The pattern includes instructions for how to create the hat using the Magic Loop Method, but you could also use double pointed needles instead!
The pattern is rated Intermediate because you will need to be comfortable with knitting in the round on circular or double pointed needles.
This pattern can also be found for 18″ dolls such as American Girl® and Les Cheries at Pixie Faire!

-Girl Size: US7-32″ circular knitting needles (OR DPN if you don’t want to use Magic Loop Method)
-Doll Size: US5-32″ circular knitting needles (OR DPN if you don’t want to use Magic Loop Method)
-Worsted Weight Yarn – 135 yards – 2 colors
-Tapestry Needle for Weaving in Ends
