Beautiful Buttonholes! Medium Buttonholes Machine Embroidery Design
When making doll clothing, a lot of us avoid buttonholes because they are difficult to get “just right.” With these embroidery designs, however, perfect, beautiful buttonholes can be stitched at the edge of a garment, starting at 1/8″ away from the edge, all the way to 1/2″ away. They can be perfectly spaced vertically at the following measurements: 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″, 7/8″, 1″, 1 1/8″, and 1-1/4″ apart. Or for buttonholes that aren’t quite stitched at these intervals, you can choose a design that will let you space them a “smidge” closer or farther apart.

Painter’s tape, tear-away stabilizer, and possibly fusible interfacing, depending on fabric type.
