Make a lovely ruffle front dress with this PDF sewing pattern for girls and their 18″ dolls! Made casual or dressy, the design features Dolman sleeves, elastic waist, button front and dramatic neck ruffles.
Pattern includes instructions for both Child size (5/6-13/14) and also for 18″ Dolls.
Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight wovens such as voile or poplin, quilting cotton, linen or rayon Challis
Supplies Needed:
18” Dolls:
-½ yard of light weight fabric– Quilting cotton, linen, lawn, voile or pinpoint cotton
-¼ yard lightweight fusible interfacing
-(5) ¼”-3/8” buttons
-Thread
-¼” elastic – cut one piece 12” long
Girls:
-2 1/4 yards of 44”- 60” wide woven fabric
-1 yard lightweight fusible interfacing
-(7) 5/8“-3/4” diameter buttons
-Coordinating thread
-1 yard 1/4” wide elastic
