Costume Jumpsuit Pattern for 15″ Baby Dolls such as Bitty Baby
This is a delightful and simple pattern to sew that you can also create a variety of
costumes with. The footed jumpsuit has a seamless front. This allows for easy decoration with appliqué or machine embroidery. It is also ideal for vinyl transfers.
You can use cute fleece and cuddle fabrics to make winter pajamas!
Use the basic jumpsuit and add different elements to create different characters and
critters.
The jumpsuit closes with hook-and-loop in the back and is designed with plenty of ease for sitting.
Instructions Include:
– Appliqué and template for a critter tummy. Your first step to creating a cute critter!
– How to add machine embroidery to the jumpsuit front.
– How to work with fur fabric.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 15” baby dolls such as Bitty Baby® and Bitty Twins®.
Recommended Fabrics: Fleece or polar fleece. Minky or crushed velvet can also be used. For Appliqué — Fleece or Medium weight woven fabrics — Cotton, quilter’s cotton.
Supplies Needed:
- Fabric — Jumpsuit — 23” x 28”
- Fabric — Tummy Appliqué — 3.5” x 4.5”
- Hook-and-Loop tape — 4.5”
- Fusible Interfacing (for neckline and back of embroidery) — Remnants
- Fusible Web (for appliqué)(See Fabric Guide) — Remnants that is the size of your appliqué
