Crocheted Christmas Stocking 18″ Doll Crochet Pattern
This holiday stocking is crocheted in the round beginning with the toe towards the heel (which is worked in rows) and then up to the top. The fuzzy yarn makes the stocking more traditional, but regular worsted weight yarn can be substituted easily. Working the project in one piece also limits the need to hand sew pieces together. A quick, fun project to do on the go and bring some holiday cheer.
This PDF crochet pattern is designed to be used with 18″ dolls such as American Girl®, but can be used with dolls of all sizes.
Recommended Fabrics: Sport Weight or Light Weight Yarn
Supplies Needed:
– 1 ball of sport weight yarn in red for main sock
– 1 ball of fuzzy bulky weight yarn for trim
– Crochet Hook Size G/6 – 4.25 MM
– Tapestry Needle
– Stitch Marker
– Scrap piece of yarn, ribbon, or thread for hanger
