It’s a play dress, party dress, school dress, an any time dress for your doll. Fun and easy to make, you can buy new fabric or just use pieces from your scrap box. Dress it up or down depending on what lace and trim you want to use.
This PDF pattern is designed to fit 18″ dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: light weight cotton or cotton blend
Supplies Needed:
-3/4 yard fabric – light weight cotton or cotton blend
-1/4 – 1/2 yard contrasting fabric
Note: you can contrast any part of the dress. These dresses were made with scraps. 3/4 yard is the total amount you need if you plan to buy it.
-6″ of hook and loop tape – 5/8″ wide
-matching thread
-1/8″ wide ribbon – 24″
