Deidra Tunic and Vest 18″ Doll Clothes Pattern
The Deidra tunic pairs well with your favorite jeans or a matching pair of pants. It works well with shorts or by itself as a mini! Deidra can be worn with a belt or ribbon sash, with pockets or without, you choose. The pattern pieces can be used to construct a super easy long vest that is completely reversible. Both the tunic and the vest are fat-quarter (18” x 22”) friendly. If separating zippers scare you, this is worth a try!
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18″ dolls such as American Girl®
Recommended Fabrics: Small scale corduroy or Light to medium-weight woven fabrics.
Supplies Needed:
- ⅓ yd of small scale corduroy for tunic or woven fabrics
- Fat quarter of woven fabric for lining
- Note: 2 fat quarters (18 x 22”) can be substituted
- Scraps of coordinating fabric for pockets
- Matching thread
- 1- 7 inch Separating zipper
- Scrap of wool felt for fringed belt or ribbon for belt
- Marking tool of your choice
