Funfair Knitting Pattern
This knit summer dress or crop top is so adorable, your doll will absolutely love wearing it!
The dress closes at the back with buttons and buttonholes. The top also closes with buttons and can be worn with them facing the front or the back. There are two sleeve options, puffy or normal sleeves.
This pattern is for intermediate knitters with an easier transition into knitting in the round without a complicated lace pattern.
For added interest, there are instructions for 3 different lace edges. Pick your favorite to knit as part of your dress.
This PDF pattern fits 18″ soft-bodied dolls. It also fits other dolls like Journey Girl, My Friend Cayla, Dollfriends®, and Karito Kids.
Supplies Needed:
-Yarn – Crochet Cotton No. 5
-Options used for testing
ELLE Crochet Cotton No. 5, 50 gr — Lilac, Turquoise, Brown
Eulali Cotton, 100 gr — Light pink
Tinkly No. 5, 50 gr — Red, Yellow
Petra DMC No. 5 — Pink
-Tester option: Regia Mosaik Sock Yarn with 2.25mm needles – 60g for dress
-Amount Needed — 1 x 50gr for short top OR 1 dress
-Needles – Size 3 USA (11 UK/Canadian), (2.5mm) circular and double pointed needles
-2 Stitch holders
-Row counter
-Stitch marker
-2 or 3 buttons to complete
-Optional: Embellishments such as ribbons or extra buttons for the front
