Using the foldover elastic trim allows you to add a bright contrast to even the most basic fabrics!
This 18-inch doll clothes underwear pattern design also works great to make a sporty swimsuit.
Mix and match fabrics and elastics to create a variety of looks!
Recommended Fabrics: 2-way and 4-way stretch cotton knits, swimsuit fabrics.
Supplies Needed:
- 1/4 yd of knit fabric
- 1 yd of foldover elastic (1/2″ or 5/8″ width)
- Matching thread
- Thin hook and loop tape
- Optional – Twin Needle
- Optional – 1/8″ wide double sided basting tape
- Optional -Steam iron for pressing knit hems
