Megan Deck Beach Tote Pattern For Girls

This PDF pattern includes pieces to make a rope handled nautical tote bag.  This is a fully lined tote bag, sized in small, medium and large and  features rope handles, mitered corners and an optional anchor applique.  You can use this sporty tote for your beach and pool excursions as well as for carrying your dolls!

Recommended Fabrics – Lightweight canvas, heavy cottons or Linen for the outer back and lightweight woven cottons for the lining &  5/8″-3/4″ diameter cotton rope for the handles.

Supplies Needed:
-1/2 yard of 44”- 60” wide woven fabric for outer bag
-1/2 yard of 44”- 60” wide woven fabric for lining
-1/2 yard of cotton jersey for applique
– 3 1/4 yards of 5/8”-3/4” diameter cotton cording for straps
-Coordinating thread
-Fusible Web
-1 package 1/2“ wide double fold bias binding
