Ming Lin Pattern for 14 to 14.5 Inch Dolls
This simple Cheongsam wrap is a quick to make Chinese dress. The dress features dolman style sleeves and the edges are finished off with bias binding. It closes with snaps in the front. This is an easy pattern to sew if you use cotton fabric and is great to teach a beginner to sew on bias binding.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 14″ to 14.5″ dolls such as Hearts for Hearts Girls® and WellieWishers™.
This Ming Lin pattern is also available in other dolls sizes designed to fit 18″ dolls such as American Girl®, 16″ A Girl For All Time® dolls, and 16″ Disney® Animators’ dolls.
Recommended Fabrics: Chinese brocade, Brocade, Satin, Cotton, quilt cotton
Supplies Needed:
• Fabric — 13” x 21”
• Bias Binding — 44”
• Clear Sew on snaps: Size 3 (1/4” wide) — x4
• Matching Thread
• Fabric Pencil or Pen Marker
• Iron and ironing board
• Optional: Microtex Needle for Brocade fabric
