Peasant Blouse 18″ Doll Clothes
Welcome back to the 1970s! This cute little Peasant Blouse by Love U Bunches is sure to bring back memories of tie-dyed tee shirts, headbands, and bell bottomed jeans! It looks great over leggings or jeans. So put a flower in your hair and let’s get stitching!!!
Recommended Fabrics: cotton gauze or light to very light weight woven fabric such as batiste or cotton lawn
Supplies Needed:
-1/4 yard or one fat quarter of light weight woven fabric
-Matching thread
-19 1/2″ of single fold bias tape to match fabric
Option 1: Eyelets with Tie
-36″ of 1 mm cording, 1/8″ ribbon, or 1/8″ jute
-2 eyelets (3/16″)
-2 medium sized beads (with hole large enough for the cording)
-Large eye tapestry needle
-Small piece of matching felt (2″ square)
-Eyelet setter
Option 2: Elastic
-9 1/2″ of 1/8″ elastic
-2 small pins
-Fine point chalk marker
-Embellishments: Ribbons, bows, flowers!
-Fabric glue stick (optional)
-Dritz® Wonder Tape™ Wash Away or other double sided sticky tape
(optional but highly recommended)
