This versatile tank works great as a layering piece over a tank, cami, or bandeau. There are so many great variations to use to create your fashion item. Make it reversible or add your own embellishment to give it that one-of-a-kind designer look!
Don’t fear knits! With this pattern, you can achieve a great looking top with little fuss. All the seams are easy to sew, no hemming required! The knit fabric should easily hold it’s shape and not stretch out while sewing. The pattern includes two options for armhole finishes, which provide enclosed seams or a raw edge casual look. The back opening is finished with a simple button and loop closure, or a hook & eye.
Wondering how this design differs from the free tank pattern? This top has a low neckline, deep open sides, a wider loose fit, curved hemline, narrower shoulders, and it’s sewn with lining so the seams are enclosed.

Suggested fabrics include lightweight knits, slub knits and light, airy sweater knits. If choosing the reversible option, have fun mixing and matching colors and prints!
