Pirate and Viking Doll 23″ Cloth Doll Pattern
Great for dress-up and pretend! This pattern includes instructions to make a 23″ girl or boy cloth doll with a long sleeve shirt, belt, hat (pirate and Viking), eye patch (pirate), boots and skirt for the girl doll. Boy doll has felt hair and the girl has felt and yarn hair worn in high pigtails. This pattern, from My Sunshine Dolls, includes clear, step by step written directions and photos for each step.

Supplies Needed:
Doll:
- 1 fat quarter in skin color for face, body, legs (girl) and arms
- 1 fat quarter of fabric for pants (boy)
- Small piece of fabric for underwear (girl)
- 1 piece of felt for hair
- Chunky yarn for pigtails (girl)
- 1 scrap piece of felt for mouth
- Fabric marker
- Stuffing
- Thread
- Embroidery thread
- Sewing needle
- Doll needle (3 ½” to 4” long)
Viking Outfit:
- 1 fat quarter of fabric for shirt
- 5¾” of ½” hook and loop tape
- 20” of of leather cording for shirt
- Small piece of lightweight fusible interfacing
- Small metal eyelets
- ¼ yard of fabric for skirt (girl)
- 11” of ½” elastic for skirt (girl)
- 1 piece of felt for main hat
- 1 piece of contrasting felt for hat
- 1 piece of felt for horns
- 1 piece of felt for boots
- 1 small piece of faux fur for boots
- Stuffing
- Thread
Pirate Outfit:
- 1 fat quarter of fabric for shirt
- 5¾” of ½” hook and loop tape
- 20” of of leather cording for shirt
- Small piece of lightweight fusible interfacing
- Small metal eyelets
- 1 piece of black felt for hat, eye patch and boots and
- Small piece of white cotton for the skull and crossbones
- Small piece of iron on adhesive such as Heat n Bond®
- 11” of ¼” elastic for eye patch
- ¼ yard of fabric for skirt (girl)
- 11” of ½” elastic for skirt (girl)
- 1 piece of knit fabric for belt
- Hot glue
