Romantic Fusion Crochet Pattern
A beautifully fitted high-waisted crochet bodice atop a froth of net, creates this gorgeous and oh-so-easy, dress, by Little Miss Muffett. Using fingering cotton yarn for the bodice, a minimal amount of hand-sewing on a skirt with no hems and no seams, this easy PDF pattern works up very quickly, has buttons in back and satin ribbon threaded through the waist. By adding a little wand or a pair of ballet slippers, a fairy princess or a pretty ballerina costume is created. This pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
This pattern is available in 5 great sizes for dolls: 18″ dolls such as American Girl®, Journey Girls®, A Girl for All Time®, Kidz N Cats®, and 19″ Gotz® dolls.
Recommended Fabrics: Soft Fine Netting; Silk; Light-weight Chiffon
Supplies Needed:
Requirements: For the Bodice, I used Elle Crochet no. 5 – one 50g ball renders three bodices.
Soft fine netting was used for the pink skirt and a slightly heavier mesh for the white skirt.

-50g ball Baby / Sock / Fingering Cotton Yarn
-Size 1 / B Crochet Hook
Metric:
-50g 3-Ply Cotton Yarn
-Size 2.25mm Crochet Hook
UK:
-50g 3-Ply Cotton Yarn
-Size 13 Crochet Hook
Skirt:
-1 1/3 Yards x 60” wide Soft Fine Netting, Chiffon or Silk – This will give a full skirt if using fine netting. Less fabric is needed with a heavier weight fabric such as Chiffon. Tulle and Organza are not suitable.
Notions:
-4 x ¼” diameter Buttons
-36” x ¼” wide Ribbon
-3/8” Decorative Buckle (optional)
-Needle and Sewing Thread to match Yarn, Tapestry Needle, Rotary Cutter
