Description
School Girl 18″ Doll Clothes Pattern
All the dresses have a gathered skirt and puff sleeves. They can be made with or without the peter pan collar. View A has a full puff sleeve that is gathered with elastic, and a curved “bib” that can be pin-tucked or flat. View B has a center panel on the bodice that can be edged with lace, rick rack or piping, and has a puff sleeve with a narrow binding on the lower edge. View C has a center panel that can be cut on the bias, and is especially effective with a stripe or plaid fabric. The puff sleeve on view C has a wide cuff that is edged with piping, and there are also directions for making the contrast bias band on the hem.
The pattern pieces are drawn with a CAD program, and include highly detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures to guide you through the sewing process. This pattern is sized to fit dolls with a chest size of 11-12″. Many variations in body size can be accommodated with minor modifications or simply by adjusting the closure placement.
