Techie Jumpsuit 18″ Doll Clothes Pattern
Casual wear jumpsuit inspired by girls who love STEM. This is a fun jumpsuit for your doll to wear and can be made in a variety of color combinations.
The Jumpsuit has a bodice with gathers that are flat in the waist. The waistline is finished off with belt band and ribbon ties are added. There are two working pockets on the pants and the jumpsuit closes at the back with hook-and-loop tape.
The jumpsuit is designed for knits and wovens!
I have included the option for short sleeves and shorts for a cute spring romper!
Recommended Fabrics: • Light to medium weight woven fabrics. • Light weight denim that is not too thick will also work. 4oz Denim. • Light weight (the thin kind) of corduroy. • Medium weight knit fabric.
Supplies Needed:
• Fabric — 13” x 36”
• Lining for bodice — 5.5” x 6.5”
• Contrasting fabric (Optional) — 4” x 16”
• Ribbon, twill tape or flat braid — 3/8” wide — 22”
• Hook-and-Loop tape — 4” (5/8” width – cut in half to get about 1/4” wide)
• Matching thread
• Fray blocker or lighter
• Fabric Pencil or Pen Marker
• Bodkin or safety pin
• Iron and ironing board
