The Lotus Dress for 18″ Doll Clothes Pattern

Pattern includes clear, step by step written directions and photos to make a 1920’s style dress with a sweetheart dress top, lace overlay and decorative lotus flower on the front. Dress has an open back design with a button and loop closure and a high-low skirt.

Recommended Supplies: Crepe-back satin, silk charmeuse or lightweight satin
Supplies Needed:
- ½ yd for main dress
- 1 piece of lace or embroidered mesh for overlay measuring approximately 18” x 10”
- Small piece for lining
- 1 yd of ¼” decorative trim
- 1 yd of 1mm to 1 ½ mm rattail cording
- 14” of ⅛” satin ribbon
- 7 – 7/16” or ½” self cover or regular buttons
- Lightweight fusible interfacing
- Button loop elastic trim (6 loops)
- Hem tape/lace
- Hot glue (optional)
- Thread
- Sewing needle
