Waverley Fringe Scarf 18″ Doll Clothes Knitting Pattern
This simple triangle scarf is light and airy for spring and summer. The fringed edge adds a touch of boho style, and the versatile shape can be worn several different ways. The scarf is knit in garter stitch, so it knits up quickly, and the fringe is easily added on through eyelets created by yarn over stitches along the edge.
The teal sample is shown with the Sutton Pinafore Dress and South Shore Knit Top.
The poppy sample is shown with the Not! Your Mama’s Overalls.
This PDF knitting pattern, by Clarisse’s Closet, is designed to fit 18″ dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Lace weight yarn (wool, cotton, or other fiber).

Needles
Size US 3 (3.25mm) straight needles (or size needed to obtain approximate gauge).
Gauge
12 sts x 28 rows = 2″ (5 cm) square in Garter Stitch (exact gauge is not critical for this pattern).
Measurements
Long edge: 20″ (51 cm)
Point to long edge: 5″ (12.5 cm)
Tools:
A small crochet hook is optional to use for attaching the fringe.
